controller help screen will look like this:
up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, a, b, a, b, select, start.
"Can be used."Wouldn't the durability tooltip render that useless?
Ha you even made the sprite look like the drawing I made. Love it
Ignore the "DUR" stuff - that's just for me.
Does the yellow mean it's in place or needs to be done?
Yellow means that I need a sfx is needed there. Here's more of the sheet if you're interested...
From the looks of it I would say you are 2/3 done
nope! the yellow cells are the sfx that will be in the beta. i'm 0% done. all the sfx are being redone properly, they have just been placeholders up until now.
That reminds me, another developer i know always put obnoxious placeholders in so he wouldn't be tempted to keep them.
Haha that's one way. I did put that stupid slap sound in...
Make them all audio recordings of you saying the file name. That should remind you.
Moving game creation logic higher up the ladder of abstraction. Now the game planner can just say that it wants a skeleton and a nearby furnace in an area, and then the generator does the dirty work of finding out the exact positions etc. Figuring out these abstractions is really useful in taming the chaos.
Boney McCoy? I think he needs a back story.
